We have heard stories of middle aged people asking young people to give up their seats to old, infirm people. Stories of old, infirm people asking – demanding – young people for their seats. The young person inevitably refuses, or you won’t even hear about it.
In Singapore’s civilized society, such requests are violence of the highest order against the young. Singapore is a place where everyone is supposed to keep to himself in public and watch any commotion discreetly. It is indecent to contribute to the action or to talk to strangers.
Thus! It is time the old, infirm people take the matter into their own hands – in silent, non-violent protest. The time has come for the old, infirm person to sit on the floor of the bus or the MRT if nobody gives up his or her seat.
Gotta fight for what’s yours, dude. Nobody else can you it for you. You’ll be surprised how many free packets of tissue paper I’ve obtained from food courts.

I have got a lot of free packets of tissue from food courts as well… i take them, and if they’re un-opened, I give them to the tissue seller.
